It is good news for the old Reeves House in Woodstock. This home has been around for what seems like ages, and, frankly, it looks it. The old place will soon, however, get some much needed attention, as the city council has promised to pay for some renovations and repairs. We learned this from a recent story:
“WOODSTOCK, GA -- Woodstock's elected officials have unanimously pledged to use city funds to help restore the Reeves House. The City Council at its Monday, Sept. 12 meeting voted 6-0 to approved a resolution pledging to allocate $300,000 from the Parks and Recreation Impact Fee Fund to pay for the restoration of the home on Elm Street. Mayor Donnie Henriques was not present.”
